Immediate Placement and Simultaneous Loading of an Implant in the Extraction Socket of a Maxillary Tooth with Periapical Lesion

Abstract
This case report documents the successful immediate placement and loading of a dental implant in the extraction socket of a maxillary tooth with periapical lesion. Traditionally, such cases were treated with a delayed approach. However, this report demonstrates that with proper case selection, surgical technique, and prosthetic management, immediate protocols can be successfully implemented even in the presence of periapical pathology.
